Mistakes commonly made by Survivalists
July 7, 2009 - "Mistakes commonly made by Survivalists" By Joseph Parish. We are all survivalists and were beginners at one time or other and each of us could perhaps share an interesting anecdote or two concerning our experiences. Unfortunately, the new survivalists often learn the tricks of the trade the hard way and many times even the more experienced of us survivalists may overlook important aspects associated with bugging out or retreat creation. Although the saying of live and learn may apply to most situations I for one do not desire to chance a philosophy such as that to the well being and survival of my family in an emergency situation. Perhaps this short article may serve as a reminder to both the newbie’s as well as for the experienced pros in what not to do. Click hereFriday, July 3, 2009
Cloning Plants
July 3, 2009 - "Cloning Plants" By Joseph Parish. Several months ago my friend Wayne and i were talking about my training in being able to clone plants and we thought that would be a great talent for survivalists to know. Well I finally got around to writing an article on cloning. There may perhaps come a day when cloning a plant would be the only way that you and I can obtain one of our favorite tomato or pepper plants for our garden. As survivalists this can be very important to us in order to ensure our continued existence. In that case I would like to impart his article on plant cloning. Click hereWednesday, July 1, 2009
Survival Bucket
July 1, 2009 - "Survival Bucket" by silverbullet. I was asked by a friend to set him up a little survival bag (bob) for the family. Is there a mole living next door to you?
June 19, 2009 - "Is there a mole living next door to you?" By Joseph Parish. Generally the common man has no idea as to what a mole is. I don’t mean those furry little animals which tend to make its home within the ground and destroy your lawn but rather a mole in the sense of international espionage. Prepare now or forget any help
June 8, 2009 - "Prepare now or forget any help" By Joseph Parish. Summer time is quickly approaching and imagine if you will that you are experiencing one of those all too common summer power outages. The day is exceptionally hot and humid so you and your family decide to pass the day by taking a causal stroll around the neighborhood. However, prior to starting your walk you decide to switch on one of your generators on in order to keep your refrigerator and freezer cold and operating properly. Click hereSunday, June 7, 2009
Get Your Papers in order now
June 7, 2009 - "Get your papers in order now" By Joseph Parish. I recently was browsing another survival web site and chanced across a comment that was made concerning the Jews during Hitler’s rein in Germany. This response stuck with me and I was allowed to think upon it for some time. The writer basically stated that although there were many of the Jews in Germany who clearly saw what was about to happen in their country they filed to depart to safer havens. The question that was hypothetically proposed was why did they hesitate to leave the country at a time when it was safe for them to do so? Click here

You got it right Mr. Stephen King
May 13, 2009 - You got it right Mr. Stephen King!" By Joseph Parish. I am confident that there is just about no one in the western world who has not heard of Stephen King. Being an avid collector of Stephen King’s books I have managed to amass every first edition that was published including several with both a European and American version. I have always considered “The Stand” to be Mr. King’s best work so far. He stylishly managed to merge the unexpected and unusual with a genuine possibility for a climatic episode. It so happens that perchance Stephen was foreseeing in his imagination of this novel for it is highly possible that we are presently in the same state of affairs as the characters portrayed within his book. Here is a fictional piece that I recently wrote. It should be taken with a grain of salt. Click hereTuesday, May 12, 2009

Instant survival skill actions
May 6, 2009 - "Instant Survival Skill Actions" By Joseph Parish. Survival skills should be polish to such an degree that at a moments notice you would know instantaneously what to do. Time in urgent situations is critical and you do not have a moment to spare. It doesn’t matter if the emergency involves an automobile accident or possibly a tornado sighted in your immediate area. Time is of the utmost significance. Split second decisions can mean the difference between life or death. Click here

Survival Group Organization

April 24, 2009 – “Survival Group Organization” The old saying that there is safety in numbers is just as valid today as it ever has been. During those emergency situations where a friendly hand is needed and like minded people are desired a small select survival group is of utmost importance. With that thought in mind Delmarva Survival Training has been trying to gather together a small group of people who think, sleep and live survival. We want useful people who truly desires to not only survive but to help contribute to our community resolves. If you are interested in joining such a group please send me an email with your name, location and a means of verbally contacting you to joseph.parish@survival-training.info
